Book Character Day

Elm Park School had a Book Character Parade on Friday. 

Room 7 dressed up as a character from their favourite book.

Magnets

In Room 7 we played with magnets and learn't how 

they stick to different metal objects.

"My favourite magnet was the big magnet."

Story Writing

When I first started school.

Now I can write a sentence independently.

In Room 7 I am learning to write independently. 

We have special things in our class such as our yellow cards to help us 

find the letters and some words we want to write. 

"I can find the word 'I'."

Reading

I am learning to know the different parts of a book.

"This is the spine."

Maths

I am learning to make a pattern.

"I made this pattern."

Art

I am learning to choose appropriate colours for my self portrait.

"I have black hair."

Physical Education

I am learning to catch and throw a ball.

"I can catch a ball."

Handwriting

I am learning to correctly form letters.

"I am writing e's."
